Would it be wise to store the fields in the google spreadsheet?

That would have the added benefit that this would be the initial (and final) sheet in the google spreadsheet.

Yeah, I think so.

I’ve been considering putting both the “sheet” and “field” sheets in the Google Sheet, maybe marked as hidden. I do want users to be able to edit “field” at least. I’m less sure about “sheet”.

I can see how that would help with rm, and I think it’s worth trying.

I don't think it's safe for users to be able to edit "sheet". If they really want to edit it, I guess they can open .cogs/sheet.tsv with a text editor.
