Handle several types of inputs?

It seems that some functions can handle CSV and TSV, some others only TSV.

Do we want to allow import of both CSV and TSV (we could refactor so we could even have xlsx and ods at a later stage if needed)?

I strongly prefer TSV, so that’s been our first target. Unfortunately there are many variations of CSV. Eventually we do want flexible support for TSV and CSV flavours, and it would be good to start on that soon.

Maybe XLSX and ODS would be good in the future, but I worry that they complicate the design at this early stage.
