Add compatibility for WSL

I am currently only developing on my Linux sub system.
I am running Ubuntu 20.04 on WSL2.

VSCode runs with the WSL extension installed.
If you use the option from the extension to open a file in a new window, the new window is simply blank and nothing is opened.

I don't have access to any Windows machines and I don't think I'd spend any time making this extension work on windows. However, I'd be very happy if you could create PR to make this happen.
