Tailwind v4 & React 19

I see in the docs Tailwind 4 + React 19: Migration coming soon.

Is there any progress / ETA on this?

Thanks for asking! I actually revisited the TW4 migration recently. The tricky part is that the minimal-tiptap component we use for markdown editing has already upgraded to Tailwind 4, BUT they also bumped Tiptap to v3. Unfortunately, tiptap-markdown (plugin we rely on to enable markdown support) didn't play nice with TipTap v3 . That means the migration isn’t just a bump of all the component versions—it would also require moving to different markdown editor.

So while the migration is definitely on the roadmap, the scope has gotten bigger than expected. Given the limited time I can allocate right now (I’m juggling a new baby too!), I don’t have an ETA to share yet.

ps. I just checked tiptap-markdown plugin, and looks like they recently added support for TipTap v3, so Ill need to revisit migration of the component (and might not need to look for an alternative markdown editing solution)

I don’t have anything commit-ready yet. I’ve been wrapped up with another project, so the Tailwind v4 & React 19 migrations haven't moved past some local tinkering.

If you want to take a shot at it, I’d honestly love the help. There’s no branch started, so feel free to dive in however you think is best. I’m happy to jump in with reviews or answer questions along the way.
