A lot has changed in those years, I would follow the procedure at Adding nodes to your cluster to generate a ISO file and boot the new node with that to add it to the cluster. |

Hi.
A few years ago, we installed OKD in a bare-metal setup. During this time, we upgraded OKD from FCOS to SCOS. We are currently on version 4.19 and would like to add a new worker node. The cluster was installed using Installing FCOS by using an ISO image. We still have the original ignition files that were used when the cluster was installed. Is it possible to add a new worker node using the ignition files with which the cluster was originally installed, even though at that time it was FCOS and now it is SCOS?
Thank you for the advice.
