It would be really beneficial to see what time you have done the task to stay working |

Thank you for the idea! First, we will generally provide more date formats (without time). We might be able to add the time to the done date after that. |

#1583 is a duplicate of this. |

One of the benefits of this feature is that if you record start time and end time with the date, you can record the duration that the task takes (see example in https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/itemdetails?itemName=fabiospampinato.vscode-todo-plus). |

Just to note that in a duplicate request, I pasted in a list (most) of the steps required to implement this: |

I have created an issue from this, so that I can track it in the backlog. Keep up-voting here though... |

I don't understand human beings: this is literally my biggest problem with Obsidian at the moment, and this issue has been sitting here for four years untouched. I am just totally confused: how can you even function in the modern world without tracking things to the microsecond, much less being stuck with the day??? You can't even sort things? Nothing makes sense? Please fix this! Please! I really, really need "Done" to be a timestamp, not a date! |

Uh oh!

Either in addition, or as an option as part of the “Set done date on every completed task”, so we can see what time we marked something as done, rather than just the day, while still being lazy and not actually have to think about it ourselves.
