[Bug]: Upgrade 31.0.10 > 32.0.1 apps go missing

Bug:
I upgraded from 31.0.10 to 32.0.1 and all my apps are gone. No calendar, contacts, deck, passwords, NextPod, Mail, Memories, Forms are any more available.

Thanks to proxmox and my nextcloud server installed on an dietpi vm, I made a backup before and restored my backup. Otherwise this is a fatal error.

Steps to reproduce

1. upgrade from 31.010 to 32.0.1
2. open nextcloud
3. check if metioned apps are still there

Expected behavior

All apps should be in status active after the upgrade.

This happened for me when upgrading from 32.0.0 to 32.0.1. I used nextcloudpi as installation and used php8.3. I think it's mor an issue for NC v32 and not NC v31.

updated to 32.0.2 and problem seems to be fixed, maybe because of PRs #56061 or #55832 - anyways: thanks!

EDIT: ok, it seems the apps worked because NC restarted during the update, after some while i get the "not found" again. Restarting apache then helps again, but for how long? :/

I upgraded from 31.0.11 to 32.0.2 and all my apps were missing. i've been using NC since the first release and i've never seen an upgrade go this badly before. If this is intended behavior it should have been listed in the release notes. If this is not intended behavior then the release testing should be updated to catch something like this before it is released.

Digging through open issues before attempting to upgrade from v31 to v32 I discovered this issue.
What did you affected users do? Are the apps physically deleted in the apps folder or are they "just" disabled?

Sounds like a deal-breaker to me at the moment. Rollbacks take too much time to trust and "just give it a try".

Yesterday I updated from nc 31.0.10 to 31.0.11. All apps where still active.

After that I updated from 31.0.11 to 32.0.2 and all apps are still active and work correctly.

This time the update was successfull.

As mentioned everywhere, it is a must to backup the instance before every update to be able to rollback if things happen like this prior bug.

Update from 31.0.11.2 to 32.0.2.2 worked without running into this issue.
