Global chronological sort

Thank you for this little yet very useful app.

If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to sort all stories over all feeds chronological. I don't think, it's possible yet.

Chronologically by what? By retrieval date? Last update date? Publish date?

Retrieval date sounds about right.

All items of a feed of one feed update have the same date though.
If the feed added 200 new items this morning all the items will have the same date.

With the publish date and other dates coming from the feed you will sometimes face the issue that the date is in the past because they used the date of when the item was first drafted or an item is later added to the feed because of other reasons.

Just so we are talking about the same thing: I meant sorting across all feeds. At the moment, each feed is sorted by the latest news. But I meant a sorting independent of the feed, so that you always have the latest news from all your feeds at the top.

So you are looking for a way to see all feed items independent of their folder?
Isn't that the same thing that's already available as 'Unread articles' above your folders and feeds on the left?

I'm aware of this function, but that's not what I meant. Maybe I'm not able to describe my idea clearly. Attached pic shows a feed, but there are other feeds with newer messages, which are not shown. For some reason, this feed also seems "unsorted". Newsblur shows what I mean.

But it was just a suggestion. I still like your app and appreciate your work. Thank you.

Exactly what I'm looking for. I am subcribed to multiple feeds and in the "all unread items" view, I was expecting all items to be sorted by date latest updated (or publish date). This way I will always see the most recent items at the top (regardless of the feed).

Still experiencing this. The 'Unread articles' view does show items from all feeds, but the sort order is not globally chronological. Items are grouped by feed, so you end up with timestamps going 8h, 7h, 10h, 12h, 8h. A true timestamp sort across all feeds would fix this.
