X1/3 IES inverters

Hi, I'm trying to decode the data fields for an X1 IES inverter. It lists itself as type 23 but it doesn't seem to line up with the data fields you give for type 23.

Can you give info on how I can extract the schema from the app (never done that before)

There has been a few reports that things don't match and so far I have no idea why. I document what the app does, not necessarily what we know to be true in general. Maybe the app converts something as it comes from the network before it reaches JS side, not sure.

Try what I suggest in the last paragraph of squishykid/solax#108 (comment) and see if it helps. It'd be really nice if manufacturer cooperated, but they are very secretive about this clearly public data and just tell everyone to use their slow and infrequently updated cloud.

I did manage to find:

Obviously for the inverters that have 3 PV inputs (5, 6 and 8kw versions)

I'm doing a little digging to see if I can infer any more fields - I've found a few fields that co-relate and think I have the data types narrowed down.

I have a pair of X1 IES stacks, each with two PV strings. I've been comparing data from the App with data from the REST interface and am fairly certain these are correct

I have no idea how to work out how to write data back to inverter(s). I can't just poke a number in just anywhere.
I'd like to be able to change the overnight charge target depending on the Solcast PV energy forecast.
The two IES inverter/battery stacks operate in a Leader/Follower mode, so you only need to write to one of them.
