This issue was already reported last year:
In at least two Rareware games, the music stops working under different circumstances:
In DK64, some of the bonus stages have no music after the introduction music plays and sometimes pausing the game brings it back.
In Banjo-Tooie, the music stops working after warping from Atlantis (or basically anywhere underwater) to the town center in Jolly Roger Lagoon or whenever you win or lose a mini-game, sometimes all variations of the music from whatever world you're in (ex. Witchyworld) all start playing at the same time and won't go away until you exit whatever room you're in.
I have no idea what is causing this, but it doesn't do this with GLideN64. It only does it with ParaLLEl. This needs to be fixed already.
