Windows binaries are unsigned

Is it a bug?

• I know this is an issue with the app, and contacting Mullvad support is not relevant.

I have checked if others have reported this already

• I have checked the issue tracker to see if others have reported similar issues.

Current Behavior

All DLLs, exes etc from mullvad vpn are unsigned

Expected Behavior

They should be signed, mullvad is a security concious company and can afford the $100 a year microsoft licence

Steps to Reproduce

Look at digital signatures tab of any mullvad vpn binary (unless maybe I have malware, I dunno since its not signed)

Hi, most binaries should be signed as of the 2026.5-beta1 release https://github.com/mullvad/mullvadvpn-app/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md#20265-beta1---2026-08-31.
