Support for react 17

Hi everybody!

I was wondering if it would be possible to bump the peer dependency version up to react 17?

React 17 only contains a minimal amount of breaking changes, so I don't think a lot (or any) reworking is required for this change.

Supporting React 17 would be great. Would you be able to work on this? To make it easier, it might make sense to make breaking changes on our side as well.
