Refactor Tree Validation Process with LazySingleDispatch #472
Description
Recently there has been a nice release of a new python package enhancing the SingleDispatch behavior to work with lazy modules. This offers a great deal of code cleanup possibilities where we want to dispatch functions as depending on the type of an object. This is very helpful for the validation/conversion code for tree models.
The code was developed during the development of probly and will be made available shortly. Once this is there we can use it.
