Docker with non-root user?

I stumbled upon this project and would like to give it a try. I currently use Borgwarehouse + 6 Borgmatic hosts.

I do not want to use the root user to create the repos, but when I have tried to set the UID/GID, the user, etc... to the docker-compose.yaml file, I got permission errors when I have tried to create a new repo.

Is this use-case supported? I think it is pretty common people do not want to do stuff with root, or create files/folders with root permissions.

I agree running as root isn't ideal. I was having permissions issues with existing repos and abandoned trying to get it to work. if you'd like to implement it correctly feel free to open a PR!
