NoSuggest - Completely Free PWA that removes recommendations, Shorts, auto-play, and trending feeds from YouTube, leaving only the channels you have deliberately chosen to follow.
License: Source-available (custom, non-commercial) — code is public for transparency and inspection, but redistribution, rebranding, or commercial reuse is not permitted.
Why do you think this helps users privacy?: Zero data collection, no ads, no tracking, no algorithmic profiling built from watch history. The app only fetches videos from channels you explicitly add — nothing inferred or recommended.
Under what section should this service be listed?: YouTube alternative frontends (web-based)
Additional comments / info: I am the creator of this project. Free forever, no premium tier. Beyond individual privacy, NoSuggest is also used in education: teachers, tutors, and parents use it to let kids watch only assigned or approved channels, with no auto-play or Shorts pulling them into unrelated content afterward. Currently in a formal UX evaluation with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and listed on the ISTE EdTech Index.
