Design Improvements #1
Description
There are a couple of modifications I'd like to make so hoping I can get the source files in either .Step or .f3d format. Step would be more universal for others but f3d is preferred as that's what I use.
The two design modifications that I'd like to work on are:
- a lip or similar for the grip insert to hold it in place without the use of tape while experimenting with weights in the grip
- the "insert" part as designed, especially with the suggested print orientation, is very weak at the insertion point as it is along a layer line (see pic). Changing print orientation may help (testing) but the piece can be designed with internal re-enforcement.
Not a modification but a suggestion to change the recommended printed orientation on the grip handle. Flipping it 180 deg will save over an hour of print time and at least 9g of filament.
