Abigale Eloquent First Year now gives counters but they don't work

[[Abigale, Eloquent First-Year]] removes the effects of the creature and puts the counters on, but they don't work. The creature has the counters listed, but they don't apply the specific bonus. Probably applies effects in the wrong order?
