Description
I normally leave a client window open to reuse later. I've had a couple of times where I've forgotten to close the client window prior to updating. Then after updating, I notice the open client window(s), close the old client window(s) and launch a new client. However, even though the launcher thinks I am updated to the latest version, when I try and connect with the new client it fails to connect and states that I am still running the old version. I then have to close the client window and force another update before launching a new client that I can connect with.
My proposal is that if someone presses the "Update" button in the launcher when they have any client windows open, it gives a popup message stating that it cannot update until all client windows are closed and suggests closing the client windows and trying again.
Alternatively, it could ask the user if you want to close all client windows and proceed with the update - and if the user clicks "Yes" then the system could close those client windows automatically before proceeding with the update.
