DeepSeek: Large amounts of thinking causes apt to freeze or response to drop.

On my Android Pixel 4 XL when using DeepSeek with Copilot, large amounts of thinking will cause the app to freeze or for the response to drop. There's just no response. There's thinking to a certain extent and then it just stops.

@SamuelMiller I'm seeing the same issue with deepseek V4 on a laptop. I think there is a ~5 minute timeout that drops the connection when deepseek thinks too long without responding. Since deepseek is generally annoyingly slow, that happens quite often.

Copilot v3 is in code freeze, so we're closing this as not planned. v4 is a ground-up rewrite and is launching soon, with a very different architecture around agent mode.

If this is still an issue for you in v4 once it lands, please open a new issue and we'll take a fresh look. 🙏
