Libreoffice won't go to light theme if linux mint is in dark theme

Bug description

When the linux mint theme is dark, it's not possible to switch libreoffice into a light mode. When switching from system -> light mode nothing happens.

Whereas, when in light mode on LM, and switching in libreoffice from system -> dark, this works perfectly. So this is only a bug when in dark theme on LM.

Steps to reproduce

Tested with mint Y dark blue theme.

1. Make the theme mint Y dark blue
2. go to libreoffice writer
3. switch from system -> light theme (under tools -> options-> view -> mode -> light

Expected behavior

The app switches to light mode whilst the rest of LM is dark mode.

Have the same issue with both the system package and the flathub package through the Software Manager. The flathub package is newer and you need to go to tools -> options -> appearance -> light mode. But nothing changes. I tried all the other libreoffice apps like calc, impress, and the theme does not change. Hope this info helps.
