Description
Currently the max timout we can set for binding Hotkeys is 5 second at Settings > Input > Bind Timout. It would be useful to be able to set longer amount of seconds. My suggestion is maybe up to 30 seconds or at the very least 15 seconds (suggested steps to set 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60 to not pollute the list too much).
On my Steam Deck, no keyboard is attached and I have difficulties to assign certain Hotkeys. While this request / proposal would not solve all issues, it would make it easier to assign certain keys. To do so I have to quickly bring up the Steam virtual keyboard and then quickly in a few seconds click the correct key for it.
Alternatively the time could stop counting if I bring up the virtual keyboard, but not sure if RetroArch can detect it. As a sidenote, moving mouse while the timout is counting down will momentarily freeze and reset (which is helpful).
