Unable to select any option on firestick

Description

I installed retroarch on my firestick so that I can use my mobile phone as a retropad remote for playing but I am unable to select any option and can only navigate using up and down keys on the retroarch app on firestick.

The centre button on firestick remote does not work as intended due to which I cannot use my phones as retropads to connect to my firestick or even load a core or game.

This is very frustrating and troublesome.It would be really great if I can select an option using my firestick remote by clicking on the centre button.

I tried all other buttons and none of them was able to click on any option.

Expected behavior

I click centre button on firestick and the option gets clicked and opens

Steps to reproduce the bug

Install retroarch from Amazon store on firestick(default store)

Open it and try selecting any option using firestick remote

I am still facing issues and I cannot use my Amazon firestick remote to send OK command to select any option.I had been using adb command input keyevent but that also seems to have stopped working and I have no way of enabling the retropad option without a controller.I only have a firestick remote,please configure the firestick remote's centre button as the OK input for retroarch so that I can open menus and turn on the retropad option and continue everything using it. @LibretroAdmin
