Skip instrumentation on namespace?

Hi,
I have a namespace that fails to be instrumented because it has a macro that fails when evaluated twice. I would like exclude that namespace from instrumentation, but still be evaluated. I tried setting ns-exclude-regex in my config, but it appears the namespace is then skipped in evaluation completely. Is there a way to add the namepace to my test run without instrumentation?
