Hi Elie,

First, huge respect for WorldMonitor — it's genuinely one of the most impressive open-source intelligence dashboards I've come across.

I'm reaching out about a commercial license. Let me be upfront about who I am and what I'm trying to do:

Who I am
I'm a solo independent developer. I build with AI-assisted ("vibe coding") workflows — no team, no funding, just one person trying to ship something.

What I want to build
I'd like to use WorldMonitor as the foundation for an experiment: applying its real-time intelligence dashboard to the travel risk-auditing and prediction-market space, layered with my own analytics (time-series forecasting, Bayesian inference, prediction-market signals).

The commercial part
My goal is to offer this as a paid SaaS service. I'd also be customizing heavily on the presentation layer — my own logo, color scheme, styling, and branding — while building my own business logic on top.

I understand this is exactly the kind of use that falls outside AGPL and requires a commercial license. I want to do this the right way, legally, from the start.

My one request
As a solo dev still validating whether this idea even works, committing to a large upfront fee before knowing if there's any traction is hard. Would you consider a grace period — say a few months to build and test commercially — and if it shows real results, I commit to a paid commercial license? I'm happy to sign whatever terms protect you during that window.

I know this is an unusual ask, but I'd rather start an honest conversation than cut corners. Could we find an arrangement that works for a small indie trying to do this legitimately?
