Python API for Design objects

I am using Kactus2 3.14.0.0
And it seems the Python API for Design objects is very limited.
I am looking for getters to inspect a design but it seems only openDesign, getDesignStdRevision and closeOpenDesign are availble.
More generally, where can I find the documentation of all the supported calls in the Python API?

Hi,

As you noted, our Python API still lacks a lot of functionality and currently there are no such getters for designs. I agree that such functionality would be useful. Further development of the Python API is on our roadmap, but do you have any examples of getters you would like to have implemented?

The Python API reference can be found here: https://kactus2.github.io/reference-guide/. Please note that the reference page is generated from our main branch code, so some methods might not exist in Kactus2 v3.14.0 (unlikely but possible).

Thanks for your feedback, and for the Python API pointer.
On the design side I would expect to get basic functions such as:

• getComponentInstancesInterface
  that may return an object to access to the instance name and the component VLNV
• getAdhocConnectionsInterface
  that may return an object to access to the the adhoc connection infos: name, tie value, internal and external component/port references
• getInterconnectionsInterface
  that may return an object to access to the the busInterface connection infos: name, active and hier interface component/busInterface references
