Error with ca-certificates trying to run example compose project

When running the two sample compose files in the example folder, I get the following messages. I don't know enough about Docker to say, but this sorta looks like a problem with alpine image rather than the compose file or Dockerfile. Let me know if it's something I can try to fix.

Looks like it was a temporary upstream issue with alpine image and package repo. I just ran docker compose build and it was able to build correctly.

Well, I did a git pull to make sure I had up-to-date files, then copied the example folder to my docker 'services' directory, without changing any files. I exported my OAuth credentials and ran docker compose up --build and got the same result I previously got.... mysterious.

Of course, I want to see if I can get one of my own services (containers) to work. So I need to "convert" the example files. I need to figure out what I can omit from the example files and what I need to keep and what I need to keep, but edit, to add references to my own files. I don't need to build images, so I don't need a dockerfile.

I'll need to do some experimenting. ;)

You may have a larger issue with the networking in your Docker setup, where it is struggling to access the internet from inside the containers.
