🎯 What is ICARUS OS?

Intelligent Certifiable Autonomous Real-time Unified System

ICARUS OS is a lightweight, preemptive RTOS kernel built from the ground up with safety-critical aerospace and defense applications in mind. It targets ARM Cortex-M7 (STM32H750) and aims to be the first open-source RTOS with:

• DO-178C alignment by design (not retrofitted)
• Native AI integration with certifiable determinism (planned)
• Hardware-agnostic portability across safety-critical platforms
• Formal verification readiness for DAL A applications (future)

🚀 Getting Started

1. Clone the repo: git clone https://github.com/ironhide23586/icarus-os-core.git
2. Build: bash build/rebuild.sh
3. Flash: Use ST-Link, OpenOCD, or STM32CubeProgrammer
4. Connect: USB CDC at 115200 baud to see the terminal GUI
