Bond request when connecting to peripheral

Context: react-native 0.76.7 and react-native-ble-manager 12.1.4

Problem: One of my app users is having a weird behavior when connecting to a peripheral (BleManager.connect(peripheralId)). When he does so, his Android is proposing bonding the peripheral:

His phone: Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Android 15

Any idea why is that so? And how to avoid it?

Your peripheral is using the protection on READ/Write reuests

class GattLocalCharacteristicParameters(winsdk.system.Object):
    write_protection_level: GattProtectionLevel
    user_description: str
    static_value: typing.Optional[winsdk.windows.storage.streams.IBuffer]
    read_protection_level: GattProtectionLevel

class GattProtectionLevel(enum.IntEnum):
    PLAIN = 0
    AUTHENTICATION_REQUIRED = 1
    ENCRYPTION_REQUIRED = 2
    ENCRYPTION_AND_AUTHENTICATION_REQUIRED = 3

If any characteristic is created with the encription level other than PLAIN, your device will ask for pairing code.
