from cursor to first/last line

Hello, happy new year and thank you for maintaining this fork! Would it be possible to operate only from the cursor to the first/last line of the column, say mapped to the text object mappings j/k (after a/i)?
A naive try was hoping for the best with https://github.com/tommcdo/vim-ninja-feet but that rather breaks it

Sounds like you could use vico0 or vic$$ could be what you're after: select the column and from start of line or to end of line. Or vic0oh or viclo$$ to exclude the column. You can map those with something like:

omap ij <Plug>(textobj-wordcolumn-word-i)0oh
xmap ij <Plug>(textobj-wordcolumn-word-i)0oh

ninja-feet doesn't seem like it'd work well with textobj-word-column since the column is detected based on the cursor position. Usually the resulting selection includes the line with the column, so "from the cursor to the beginning or end of those text objects" doesn't seem relevant.

Maybe I misunderstand and then a before and after text example with desired normal commands would clarify.
