TTS automated transcription implementation, Hyperaudio transcript to .srt

I'm so happy that I found your initiative! Can't wait to dive deeper into your different modules.

I just wanted to ask: Is text-to-speech / computer-assisted video/audio transcription part of your roadmap? I've been looking for open source alternatives to descript, otter.ai, sonix,ai, etc., and found this interesting demo that uses the VOSK api:

Although this demo doesn't have punctuation out of the box and doesn't allow editing the transcript, I wondered if it could be paired with your suite of tools.

I was also wondering if the Hyperaudio converter worked the other way around too (so converting hyperaudio transcripts to .srt).

Hi @candideu – sorry for the tardy reply. I was not expecting to find an issue here :) I have activated discussions which I will check more regularly.

Certainly VOSK is something that we are looking into integrate with our Hyperaudio codebase. We think this is best suited to desktop apps, since the size of it makes that reasonable.

As far as Hypertranscript to SRT is concerned – this should do the trick https://github.com/hyperaudio/hyperaudio-lite/blob/main/js/caption.js
