In a scrollspy, the 'active' state only propagates to the nearest
hs-scrollspy-groupelement and, I suspect, only if it has a child with ahrefattribute.I observed this behavior in my project and found this piece of code in the sources:
This is inconvenient as the table of contents might contain more than one nesting level.
I suggest that the method be updated to invoke not the nearest but rather the furthest parent element with this attribute.
