Bug? Can't release click-and-drag on new window

It seems that click-and-drop does not work correctly between monitors. I confirmed it works as expected when connected with the same mouse via direct bluetooth connection to the same computer. So something is not working right in Deskhop.

Scenario

1. Click-and-hold any window or desktop item.
2. Drag the item to another connected monitor.
3. Release the selected item.

Expected Behavior

1. The item deselects and is placed in the window area of the mouse.

Observed Behavior

1. The item does not deselect and moves with the mouse pointer.
2. When dragged across monitor boundaries, the item deselects right at the border between monitors. Which monitor the item ends up on depends on the item size, I think.

The OP did not specify the OS of the computer this was happening with. I have experienced the same thing on Mac (but not on Windows). This happens with both macOS 15 (MacBook Pro with M1) and 26 (MacBook Pro with M5). The Mac monitors are landscape and the Windows monitors are portrait. For both computers, the center monitors are designated as the primary monitor in the OS settings.

I noticed the same thing: "The item does not deselect and moves with the mouse pointer". I cannot "let go" of the window, I have to drag it back to the border of the monitor I'm dragging the window to. There I can "let go", and it ends up partially visible on the monitor I was attempting to move the window to. I can then click and drag on the window (as long as I keep it on this new monitor) to the desired position. But it is time consuming, because I have to do two very deliberate drag-and-drops to get the window into place.

After several months of this behavior , I used the web configuration mode to wipe config. I then re-entered all of the settings from before, with the same values as before. Clicked Save and Exit , and now everything works perfectly!

0.77 introduced this bug. 0.78 has been fixed and only exists on macOS.
deskhop's config-t structure is not stored by ID, so it may get messy. Clearing the configuration is necessary
