I have a question regarding the hardware setup for the communication module. In the paper, it is mentioned that the fully decentralized ad hoc network (IBSS) was configured on the Intel NUC onboard computer. However, when I tried to set the built-in Intel Wi-Fi module of my NUC to Ad-Hoc mode in Ubuntu 20.04, the Linux driver (iwlwifi) rejected it with an Operation not supported (-95) error.
Could you please clarify if you successfully used the stock Wi-Fi module that came with the NUC (and if so, what model/driver version)? Or did you use an external USB Wi-Fi adapter or replace the internal M.2 module with an other chip not explicitly mentioned in the paper?
