Last release is from last month (January 2026). We just didn't update the release list on GitHub, but you can see it on NPM: https://npmx.dev/package/histoire.

I am currently using Histoire to document a UI library built on Vuetify. Despite best practices, I am encountering CSS collisions between the Histoire UI and the library components—particularly with teleported components (which Vuetify uses extensively).

Current Limitations

Sandboxing: Using iframe mode addresses some teleportation issues but does not completely eliminate CSS conflicts. Furthermore, the iframe approach is currently limited to the "single" layout.

Theming: There is currently no streamlined way to synchronize the library’s internal theme (e.g., Vuetify's dark mode) with the Histoire theme toggle.

Proposed Solutions

CSS Isolation: I noticed work has already begun on this via PR #711. Implementing a robust isolation feature would be highly beneficial for libraries that rely on global styles or teleported elements.

Theme API: It would be ideal to have an API or an event hook that allows us to detect when the Histoire theme is toggled so we can programmatically switch the story's internal theme to match.
