About a RW FAT32 filesystem

I have been working on a FAT filesystem for quite some time now. The API is still a bit unstable (some parts may change in the future), but it supports both RO and R/W filesystems/device mediums and the API is quite simple to use. It is called simple-fatfs, and you might want to take a look at it.

Really cool. I've worked with rust-fatfs in the past. And this might be interesting to implement.

This looks very promising! Having writable support would be a major milestone, it's preventing me from running more 'real' userspace programs.

I'll look into how to integrate moss's VFS API into embedded-io. Hopefully that should work well and we could get it integrated.

By the way, if you don't want to use it as a dependency through the git key, I could publish another alpha version on crates.io with the latest features if you end up using simple-fatfs.

I have a code that can be turned into a driver possibly for usb fatfs devices called usbh-fatfs. Might be interesting to port it to use simple-fatfs and add the code here.

https://crates.io/crates/embedded-io-async seems like an async version, I don't know if there is a FAT driver that is async however.

I honestly don't see any reason to prefer IO trait methods of synchronous ones. Then again, you are welcome to open an issue at the simple-fatfs repository and discuss it there.
