"Discard changes and return to ODK?" dialog missing in geotrace/shape after tapping the back button

Problem description

In a geotrace or a goeshape after tapping the device back button (when some points are added) the dialog asking about discarding changes is missing.
Missing dialog:

On the master version after tapping the back button the user is moved to the question and no geometry values are saved.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. In the demo project open All question types form.
2. Go to geoshape or geotrace question and open the map.
3. (Use any method of input) Add some points.
4. Tap the device back button.

Expected behavior

After tapping the back button (when there are some points added), the dialog should appear.
