What about having an estimated progress bar to quickly gauge how long your simulation has to finish?

@gerlero the tqdm module has this ability, but I'm thinking you'll need to periodically read the current time from the log file.

However I'm using IPython, is this a dominant environment for other people?

For now, I'm only reading from standard output (so if you're running a script that logs to a file, you'll have an indeterminate progress bar but no progress indication). I believe inspecting log files could be added in another PR.

I'm using Rich to implement it. I guess IPython should be supported, but I haven't checked.

As of foamlib 0.8.7, progress indications are displayed when running cases (uses the Rich library). @TessellateDataScience thanks for suggesting this!
