Printing Lables Issue

Hi,
Perhaps someone can give me a clue about the problem I am having:
I am using old geoserver 2.3.2 with the printing plugin for 2.5. Everything works fine on prinitng, but if I use a Style in openlayers to label some point features I cant get the labels printed on the pdf.
All other style, for points, lines, polygons, even special .png graphics appear printed, but the labels dont get printed. In the json sent to geoserver I can see the label parameters sent.
I dont get any error from geoserver.
Is this a priblem about geoserver, Mapfish, openlayers? I am missing some parameter on openlayers, the Yaml file for mapfish or in geoext?
I cant find any answer ...
