Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:
- Being welcoming to first-time contributors and engineers of all experience levels
- Giving constructive, respectful feedback in reviews
- Disagreeing about technical approaches without disparaging people
- Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
- Focusing on what is best for the community and the knowledge base
Examples of unacceptable behavior:
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal attacks
- Gatekeeping ("you're not a real engineer if...")
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others' private information without explicit permission
- Promotional spam or self-promotion disguised as content
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
Maintainers have the right to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.
This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces, issues, pull requests, discussions, and when an individual is officially representing the project in public spaces.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by opening an issue or contacting the maintainers directly. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
