Stop hoarding links in digital graveyards. Move your research into an active, agent-driven ecosystem.
Raindrop is excellent for storage, but it's a data silo. Here is how to feed your Raindrop collection to Hermes.
- Export as HTML: In Raindrop, go to Settings -> Import & Export -> Export to HTML.
- Dispatch Hermes:
- Copy the exported list of URLs.
- Ask Hermes:
"I am moving from Raindrop. Read these URLs, research them using the clipping skill, and file them into my Obsidian vault based on their topics."
- The Result: Hermes will systematically visit each link, synthesize the content, and organize it intelligently.
Use the Scout (Extension) on your most critical Raindrop links to trigger a deep synthesis immediately.
Readwise is great for highlights, but Hermes is better for compounding intelligence.
- Export Markdown: Use the Readwise "Obsidian Export" plugin if you already have it.
- Refine with Hermes: Once the files are in your vault (likely in a messy
Readwise/folder), use the Garden (Plugin) ribbon icon on each note. - The Result: Hermes will read the raw highlights, research the original source to fill in the gaps, and move the finalized "Second Brain" note to your
Research/folder.
