With Fedora 44 released, Fedora 42 is getting near its end of life. Per https://endoflife.date/fedora it is currently planned for 2026-05-27.
Once it is EOL, we will want to remove Fedora 42 from our GitHub Actions workflows. We will likely want to do an equivalent of 5426b6c that was done for Fedora 41.
We will also want to remove :fedora-41 tags from https://quay.io/repository/freeipa/freeipa-server?tab=tags and https://hub.docker.com/r/freeipa/freeipa-server/tags to make it clear that version is no longer being available/updated. We will however want to keep the :fedora-41-x.y.z tags around as historical reference.
