Consider whether you might want to run QLog on macOS as a native application. Otherwise, QLog is compiled for ARM64 as a Flatpak, or you can try compiling it yourself. The compilation instructions are in the README. Compiling for ARM64 is the same as any other compilation from source code. |

Thanks, As soon as I have the hardware here I will compile it. Let's see if I can figure it out. I will explain it when I do. |

So you are planning on installing Linux on the M2 Mac? I have a built/signed version for the Mac available.

Well, I’m currently using Linux on an Intel machine, but for a few years now, I’ve been living in a solar-powered house with batteries. Therefore, every single Watt counts. M1, M2, or M4 processors have ridiculous power consumption compared to Intel. The idea is to use an Apple Mini M2 and install Linux to lower the electricity consumption. I never turn off my computer, and I want to keep it that way. I’ve calculated that by replacing my radio computer and the company server with an M4 Mini, I’ll reduce my current consumption by more than 80%, which my batteries will greatly appreciate. The M4 won't run on Linux because I need to use the NPU, and that’s not possible for now. So yes, your signed version could be a huge help. Thanks! |

Hello, I'm changing my hardware from intel to arm.
Specifically I want to install all the radio shack on a Mac Mini M2 (arm), which will run Linux.
What considerations will I need to be able to compile Qlog on this platform?
Thanks
Jordi, EB3AM
