The old versions of this software supported the other scheduler in Flux, sched-simple, but it doesn't work these days because we changed the way we communicate with the scheduler in order to avoid modifying flux=core. It would be good to enable support for sched-simple in flux-fiction to show how users can work with schedulers other than just fluxion
