Announcing Prometheus: A Specialized Multi-Agent AI Assistant for FDS

Hello everyone,

I would like to announce the release of Prometheus, an AI-driven assistant specifically engineered to support the Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) community. It can be accessed through: ai.rioonfire.com

While general-purpose Large Language Models often struggle with the highly specialized syntax, physics definitions, and nuances of FDS, Prometheus addresses these limitations through a tailored, multi-agent architecture.

Core Architecture and Capabilities:
Multi-Agent Routing: Instead of a standard, single-agent Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) setup, Prometheus utilizes a central Coordinator Agent. This router dynamically classifies incoming queries and delegates them to specialized sub-agents dedicated to specific domains: FDS Syntax, Fire Physics, Debug/Issues Tracker.

Prometheus is designed to provide precise, documentation-backed answers to help users, troubleshoot syntax errors, and clarify complex physics implementations within FDS. It is not intended to write input files.
