🚀 FireForm v1.0.0: The "Report Once, File Everywhere" Launch

We are thrilled to announce the first official release of FireForm, the 1st Place Winner of the Reboot the Earth hackathon (hosted by the UN and UC Santa Cruz).

FireForm is an open-source Digital Public Good (DPG) designed to eliminate the administrative burden on first responders by automating redundant paperwork through local AI.

• Master Input Interface: Record a single voice memo or text description of an incident. No more filling out the same details across multiple forms.
• Local AI Extraction: Powered by Ollama (Mistral), FireForm extracts structured data (names, locations, incident details) entirely on your local machine—ensuring data privacy and security.
• Automated PDF Filling: Automatically maps your incident data onto any number of agency-specific fillable PDF templates simultaneously.
• Native Desktop Experience: This release includes the first official .dmg for macOS, providing a seamless desktop installation.

📦 Installation

1. Download the FireForm-1.0.0.dmg attached below.
2. Open the .dmg and drag FireForm to your Applications folder.

FireForm is 100% open-source and built to be modified and adopted by any department. We welcome contributions and feedback from the community to help our first responders spend less time behind a desk and more time saving lives.
