overwriting default hooks

I use matugen for my waybar, hyprland etc. and wanna use pywal16 for my terminal colors. when I run wal -i path/to/wallpaper waybar reloads itself for some reason, I tried to overwrite the default configration with -o flag but doesn't work.

Ah yes, the reload hooks are an inegrated part of pywal, just run wal with -e and that will prevent every single reload hook on https://github.com/eylles/pywal16/blob/master/pywal/reload.py from running

then you can have your own custom hooks in an external script to be ran by pywal with -o /path/to/custom/hooks/script

I should probably work on a way to provide more fine grained control over the reload hooks than that.

also is there a setting that prevents swww for changing my wallpaper? matugen already does that for me. checked the man page but haven't found anything. I want only color generation from image.

edit: my bad, found the -n flag.
