Try to Create Connection, Demo user, test connection is ok, but create connection is error, Error : "Invalid character "

Thanks for reporting this.

Could you first let us know which database type you're trying to connect to?
For example: Postgres, ClickHouse, MySQL, etc.

This error can sometimes happen if one of the connection fields contains special or hidden characters, so please also check whether any of these include unexpected characters or extra spaces:

• Host
• Port
• Username
• Password
• Database name
• Connection string

If possible, please try retyping the values manually instead of pasting them.

Also, we’d recommend using the desktop app for creating your own connections instead of the online demo. The demo environment is shared, so it’s mainly for quick product exploration and may not be the best place for saving personal database connections.
