Would it be possible to base time estimation on file modification date?

Time = (File modified from Last commit) - (File modified from New commit)

Then collect each time span for each file changed in the commit. And it should give you an accurate estimation?

Or is this how it already works? I could not figure out how exactly it worked from the readme doc.
