It would be great if we had a mobile app that would connect / sync to our self hosted instance of Faved

The app is already fully responsive and works well on mobile browsers. You can also install it as a PWA (Progressive Web App), which behaves very similarly to a dedicated mobile app — including home screen access and a more “app-like” experience.

So while there isn’t a native mobile app right now, the PWA setup gives you most of the same benefits while staying fully synced with your self-hosted instance.

To see installation instructions for your device, open Settings → Integrations → Install App.
