Editing items from Origin OS app clone fails

Feature Request:‌ Support renaming pictures under the path /storage/emulated/999/.
Current Behavior:‌ Currently, only pictures under /storage/emulated/0/ can be successfully renamed. Attempts to rename pictures under /storage/emulated/999/ will fail.

How did you get items under that path? Is it from a guest account? Please let me know how I can reproduce this.

And Aves can not delete pictures under path /storage/emulated/999/ too. @deckerst

I tried other ways to get alternate profiles (with the Android builtin multiple users, and with the app Shelter which leverages work profiles), and Aves can successfully access and modify the items in each profile.

I don't know how Origin OS app clone works but I'll need more details. For starters, please follow the instructions in the app About > Bug Report and paste here your system info and the logs (best to export them after trying the operation that fails). Also, please provide a screen recording of what you're trying to do.

I see from your video that in your case the two profiles are not segregated, like they are with built-in user accounts or work profiles. So you want the same app/user to access content coming from different user spaces (not each app accessing its own space only). Is this how it's supposed to work with the Origin OS app cloner?
